Dog # 57 of 100 Dogs and Every Day in May # 114 Draw Something that is ugly that you keep for sentimental reasons

Draw Something that is ugly that you keep for sentimental reasons, This is a drawing of an old photo of a great dog BooBoo.  I only considered it ugly because the black satin and red lace frame are very faded, a little dusty as well.  BooBoo was free from in front of a grocery store, I said no Daddy said OK and this lab- setter mix was one of the smartest dogs ever.  She learned all the tricks I could think of and was a great companion for a 9 year old.  Great joy for many years!
I don't know why I couldn't get blogger to download it straight?

Dog #43 of 100 Dogs and Every Day in May # 107 Draw how you get your news.

Had to make up the rear view of a brindle greyhound (?) I liked the shape of its ears. Would really more likely be a cats sillouete in the way. The real dog is at my feet and the cat on my lap interfering with typing!

Took some more reference pictures of dogs that visit the Art Glass Guild's Patio Sale and sold some glass!  Always nice to sell your newest work!

Fused Glass Pendants in Progress

Working on some new pendants, these will have the etched dichroic front and part of the silver bail is an abstract tree shape so they should be attractive from both sides!

Fused Glass Horse

I did this fused glass sketch quite awhile ago, I happened to get a view of it with the setting sun behind it and looked at the bubbles on the one horse. Thought it worth taking a picture of.

Fused Glass Cufflinks

One of the glass Artists at the Art Glass Guild, http://www.agasc.org/ suggested some items for men. Since I Had done tie tacks for fathers day and because a fellow from Australia in Studio 25 said the style "down under" was to wear your dress shirt with no tie with cuff links! I made some up with some eyes that would have turned into earrings!

This is a better picture of a pendant from a May firing.

These are drawn with glassline and colored with frit.

100 dogs

Found some old reference photos of Dogs and after seeing Roz's daily dots, drawings of her dog for I think 5 years. http://www.rozworks.com/dog.html  I was inspired to do 100 hands, horses and cats.  She wondered when I would do 100 dogs!  Now that I've found the puppy pics and pictures of the dogs that visited  The Art Glass Guilds Patio Sale http://www.facebook.com/lyn.feudner  I'm going to start!  These first 2 are on buckling paper after mowing grass too long so I'll have lots of room for improvment... its a start....
