Art Glass Guilds Patio Sale and Show
Update!! 15 Seconds of fame!! http://www.nbcsandiego.com/station/as-seen-on/Spanish_Village_s_Unique_Art_Glass_Show_at_Balboa_Park_San_Diego.html
Patio Sale was great fun! Always lots of beautiful glass there. I took more pictures of the dogs that attend the show and will post and do some drawings from them.
The librarian at the Ramona library recognized the piece of Dichroic jewelry I was wearing as one very similar to one a Julian librarian has. I told her it very possibly was as I do bring my artwork up there for shows! Cool to have your work recognized!
Patio Sale time already! http://www.agasc.org/index.php?page=events Lots to get ready!

Patio Sale and Show was successful. Great people amd beautiful Art Glass from one end of the Spanish Village patio to the other. I always wish I could spend more time looking at the other artists glass. I always learn something new from them as well.

New wire sketches for The Ramona Open Studios Tour
Some new wire sketches for the Ramona Open Studios Tour http://www.zhibit.org/ramonaart This is a really fun event, 15 Artists open their studios for the weekend. Tickets are $10 with a map and brochure. You travel at your own pace to some Very interesting Art spaces. I will be with Carol Levin, Her studio has incredible views of the local mountains, a stream and lake views. I'll have my fused Glass jewelry and larger glass work as well as the wire sculpture and some new wire earrings.
You have to use some imagination to see them as finished earrings!

More Glass
Lydia's comment was right, I did get too much going with the shadows. This picture is a bit better!
The Ramona Studio Tour Was great fun, lots of art friends stopped by and met new art friends। Got encouraging comments on my wire work and sold a couple pieces! The glass fish and sketches were well recieved as well। I'm busy working on new glass for The patio sale May 16th and 17th

Studio Tour and new glass
Its time for the 2009 Ramona Studio Tour! http://www.zhibit.org/ramonaart
The tour was cancelled last year due to the fire that raged through our community. Most of the Artists are back at work, The mountain sides have a different bare look. Last years wild flowers were spectacular and revival is on the way. If you are an Art lover this is a great oppertunity to visit 15 Studios see where and how artists work and meet some interesting people.
I've been busy working on some new jewelry and larger glass pieces.
