After drawing one hundred hands, one hundred horses, thought I'd work on some cats! Working on that many sketches makes you familiar with the subject. These were from a childrens book about cats, it was great to see the skeleton!
Siamese nice pose, I should develope this into something more than a quick sketch!

What fun Lyn ... you will soon know everything there is to know about cats!
Great cats, especially the flip and the skeletons. You make the 100 mark look much easier. Maybe I'll give that a try sometime, but will have to come up with a subject :)
Do develope the siamese sketch, although it's lovely as it is now. I miss my cat but she would never stay still long enough for me.
Enjoyed my visit.
I don't think I could draw a 100 of anything so Kudos to you! I love all of your line work. Great Energy!
Wow! This is the way to get good at something! Way to go!

Wow, you have really captured the essence of a cat. I love your line quality. It's so sensitive to the form.
Oh, that cat would make a great developed picture. It's a great pose.
I love that cat, too ... all your work, actually. I'll be back to browse some more. Thanks for visiting my blog.
Great series: The siamese is very cool, his pose is perfect!
OOOH YEAH! What a wonderful study...great energy and mothion and wonderful sketching lines...The Siamese has the perfect attitude and stance...Love the skeleton! Great job on all of these!
Hey Lyn, Why have you been paying for a model when you've got these great ones at hand???
These are lovely drawings. Nice to see your progress!

Thanks for your message on the EDM list about our book swap. I am enjoying looking at your blog, especially as I often draw my cats. I have a wonderful book about drawing cats - an English one - you may have it. The author is Lesley Fotherby. It's quite old, but you sometimes see it 2nd hand. I'm in awe of your glass. I would love to be able to do that, but I am doing too many things already, so I just buy pieces sometimes.
Excellent cat series. The Siamese is spot on!
beautiful drawings. good for you for doing 100! and of course, CATS are just the best subject.
Fabulous cat sketches, Lyn. I love drawing cats and dogs. I wonder what that's all about?
