Dancing with the Stars

Well I tried it again! It is getting easier to do, the figure drawing I've done has helped but getting the clothing to look possible is another skill to work on. The first sketch was free enough to try using watercolor, my sketch and wash watercolor pencil did its own abstraction on the one with the yellow. The blue skirt is the only finished pat of the next one, will they ever get thier arms?

This one was real fast, they need a ground line to look right.

This dancer sure could move! Her hair and dress went wild!

I did this one 3 times, the faster I sketch the more motion ( less stiffness) I get.

I hope I'll have time to try one in glass today!

very nice. I love them all. They are all so different which give each sketch it's own right to be there.
