New Look at Old Glass Boxes

My first boxes, and resolve to make some new ones! Now that I have it in print I hope to take myself seriously.



My most recently completed box and resolve to get better pictures of existing boxes!

I don't understand what I'm seeing... did you make the metal (it appears to be metal) box and then put a fused glass piece inside... or is this like a glass brick that you painted or something.

It is a box created in the stained glass method. So the metal you see is lead applied to copper foil (sheet form cut with an exacto knife to get the trees etc.) while the 6 piecec of glass are flat. It is then assembled into a box. I'll post some more pics. when I get a chance.

Thanks for the info above on these wonderful boxes. So does this mean you painted the glass and created the copper foil animal shapes?? However you achieve it, they are absolutely delightful. How big are they??
